Do you know if it is legal to compete at USEA events after rubbing arnica cream on a bruised chest muscle (pasturemate kick)? I can't find the medications section and hoped you might help. Thank you.

USEF e-mail received - "Arnica is legal when applied topically". That is good to know since I have been using it forever. LOL!

i've used it on horses before NAYRC at the * and ** levels, and it's been fine. it can be given in a powder form that resembles salt that we put in broken carrots. works well. good for keeping a horse in top condition and health before a big 3day
