Thought it might be nice to see us all decked out in our Christmas finery (horses too!) for a meet-up Lunch-N-Ride at HLCSP.

Lemme know!

I would love to but I think it is the same weekend I am visiting my grandfather, I will let you know.

Sounds nice to me as long as the only Christmas finery you expect from me is a red sweatshirt that says Merry Christmas:lol:

Eh, don't sweat it. I'll have my Christmas print saddle pad, red/green outerwear on me and real antique Jingle Bells on Penny :D

Do you want to pack a lunch for after or splurge & go to the Blue Wisteria? Or is it Blue Willow??

I'd rather do picnic on site. I would not feel comfortable leaving Penny in the trailer unattended while we dined at the Blue Willow Inn (although I am dying to eat there one day :D)

Our Saddle Club has it's Jingle Bell Ride that day. We ride thru the town of Molena and wind up at the nursing home. Some of the resident's look forward to this all year. They bundle up and come out & pet the horses. Some of them tell tales of their horses from 70 years ago. It is always very touching to see the joy some of them get from just being around horses again.
