I just bought a beautiful tack trunk. Unfortunately, it is with stainless steel hardware and not brass as I got a great deal on a premade one.

I'm looking for an oval chrome colored nameplate but I can only find brass colored ones.

I know I've seen people with chrome colored hardware with a brass nameplate, but I still think it is a faux pas.

So, does anyone know where I can get a nice chrome colored oval nameplate in this picture: http://oakcroft.com/products_hardwood.htm

Thanks!

Unfortunately Phoenix West doesn't sell direct but you could contact them and see if there is a retailer near you that you can order from...

Scroll down almost to the bottom to see the ovals for the trunk.

Tacktrunks.net seems to have a large variety of trunk name plates in brass and chrome. Just scroll down to see your options: http://www.tacktrunks.net/html/horse_name_plates.html

Maybe something listed as a stall plate, could be closer to what you want. Lots of those in the catalogs, colored, various fonts of printing to choose from.

I got a nice large, silver "dog tag" shape like soldiers wear, for my large dog. Hole on each end for mounting on a trunk, collar or use as a hanging tag. They had a choice of printing fonts, some quite large, for the ID information. Made while I waited, was quite inexpensive, $5 I think, at Pets Plus.
