Yep, really.

Did you know that competitors have an avenue to let the USEF know how they perceive the quality of judging? According to the rules, the show office MUST have copies on hand.

Lest you think that the feedback you provide goes to a circular file, judges receive emails from the USEF summarizing evaluations and while maybe not all judges take them seriously, but it's certainly a way to help the USEF know what you think of licensed officials.

Here's a copy of the form:

Next season, don't just kvetch or vent, tell someone who really cares!

I am not sure judges receive summaries of
evaluations. I thought they just went into
our 'folders' for perusal when we apply
for upgrading of our licenses by the LOC.
I know in the 8 years I have been a judge
I h ave never gotten any feedback from
the USEF. Could it be that no competitor
has ever evaluated me?

Yes, it's quite possible. Not many shows announce the forms and ... well, how many competitors actually read the rules? (and furthermore, where in the rules is this stated? I dunno!) ;)

My instructor has received 3 emails from the USEF in the last year summarizing her evals which is what prompted me to post.

An "S" judge encouraged us to send them in as well if we have a good or bad experience. She says they are taken seriously.
