Posting for my sister. This mare is soooooo sweet! If anyone is truly interested I can e-mail pics.

She is 13 years old. Around 14.2 hands (never put a stick to her but she is small....wears a size 74 blanket) I have had this mare for over a year now and I just had a baby and moved back to PA. Song is just sitting in field with no job. She is cute as a button, easy keeper. No front shoes..... low maintenance cross ties round pens longes etc etc. She is registered. I don't think she was ever shown, the woman I bought her from didn't tell me if she was or not. She is SUPER with kids. I don't know if she jumps....never tried it with her. Can go English or Western (she doesn't know how to neck rein). She has never reared on me or bucked under saddle. You could move her to your barn (with a contract) or keep her where she is at. She is located in Malvern PA at the moment on field board. Anyone with any questions can either PM me or ask away on here. Thanks for looking!

Please take a look at the Horseless Rider Riderless Horse Sticky thread at the top of Off Course. Someone in your area may be interested at least in riding her to keep her going. There was someone from your area looking to ride, maybe you can work something out.

what kind of riding do you think she is best suited for? what riding skills would she require? I have a tall 7 year old with 1 1/2 years experience under her belt. We were looking for something we could both ride but I think I would be too big (5'4" but not petite). Do you have any pics of her?

Just my two cents, but Arabians can carry a lot more weight for their size than other horses. They are a tough, strong breed. I wear a women's size 1x, so I am not some little thing. I ride Arabians and they have no problem carrying me 25 miles in competitive rides. My horse has won high vet score several times with me riding him in 25 mile competitions, so obviously he didn't find my weight an issue.
