I'm wondering what those more knowledgeable than myself think of this mares lines. She’s a hunter/jumper prospect, and she’s a BEAST (a true 17.2 at 5 years old) She’s what i'm looking for performance wise and i’m in the process of getting her vetted, but i’m always interested in learning more about performance bloodlines. TIA :D

P.S. Thanks to all who helped me in regards to info on the sire. It was exactly what I was looking for.

With the thoroughbred lines and Pik Bube, you have hybrid vigor along with size alone coming from the Pik Bube breeding. She could still grow some more - not a lot more but some - by time the she is 7-8 yrs old.
I like her breeding on top and bottom.

She's got some big names in her pedigree, even if some are back a few generations. She also has FuriosoII (the stamping stallion) very close to only be a 5 yo herself.

Here is some info and some links so you can look at some of her big names. I'm a big big fan of the Calypso.

Furioso II is Furioso II.

A Furioso II son, Voltaire, is one of the top current jumping sires.

Lugano was a Der Lowe (tb) son and I associate him more with dressage lines, but he produced show jumpers as well.

A currently successful Belgian jumping stallion, Darco, tracks back to Lugano/Der Lowe.

Pik Bube gives you a second, but very dilute by now, dose of Der Lowe. Pik Bube’s grandsire, Pik As, was a big time showjumper sire, but Pik Bube competed successfully in dressage and was a versatile producers. Pik Bube/Donnerhall was a popular dressage cross.

The bottom part of your pedigree has the legendary Holsteiner cross of Cor de crossed on Ladykiller (who was the sire of the equally legendary Landgraf as well ) lines. Calypso I, with his full brother Calypso II, have produced many wonderful horses in show jumping and also in dressage. It was such a good cross that there were actually 5 approved sons, Calypsos I-V.

Calypso I is one of my favorites, but his brother Calypso II sired Contender who is very special as both a jumping and dressage sire.

On the tb bottom, Raise a Native sired Alydar (can you tell I wasn't the Affirmed fan everyone else was?).

EDITED TO ADD - although her papers are OLD, she's primarily Han, Holst and TB lines.
