My horse is mildly allergic to corn and molasses (the owner had some test to determine what he is allergic to).
What feeds do NOT have these two ingredients in them?
He is currently on farnam platform performance which is strange because it has both of these products, and he does not seem to have a reaction to it...? He is in hard-moderate work considering i event at the novice/training level.

Any input is very well appreciated!!

I would check local feed stores. I was VERY lucky and found that our feed store, that is local, makes a feed that doesn't have Molasses or corn in it for my ponies. Also search on the internet, and see what you can find.

Buckeye Safe & Easy Pellets have no corn or molasses. I use this for my IR horse!

Triple Crown Low Starch.

But, you can also just feed oats, barley, flax, beet pulp etc.

Many of us do. ;)

Watch the supplements. I found with my guy just the little amount of soy or alfalfa in the 2oz of vitamins was enough to keep him chronic in the allergic department!

I would have completly agreed with you, but the last batch we got had chunks of corn in the pellets! And it wasnt just one bag either, I dont own the barn that feeds this, so I dont know if they have contacted TC but it was 8 bags worth...

We have been feeding TC low starch and pennfield's cool and lite to stay away from the corn and molasses

Buckeye. I know that has been mentioned.

My filly gets a tad high on sweet feeds, and a fatso. So I get grain that has a slow release starch. Buckeye has great feeds. They have a website check it out. She loves this feed. Gro n Win. It is expensive, but you DO NOT have to feed alot. I feed her only 1 coffee cup am, pm. It is pretty concentrated. My gelding who would love to have a whole water trough full of molasses just for his sipping pleasure doesn't get hot on any feed type. I give him Supreme 10. He gets 2 cups, am pm. It is not expensive.

I did try the purina one and she was a nut case holy horse wings bat girl. Ultium. I also tried another one they had that alleged to be slow release, it wasn't. Took me forever to get through the feed, had to give to my gelding and he loved and loved it. I gave him 1 cup am/pm.

Not switching feeds again. This is what works for us. Or rather her. Well it does work for us. She is not a nut case for me when we ride or do whatever.
