Each year CANTER Mid Atlantic has an online auction. We are now getting ready to start this year's online auction, and are accepting donations/listings through November 11, with bidding running from the 12th through 19th. Perfect timing for the holidays! As usual we are featuring everything from baked goods to lessons with top professionals, with new items coming in quickly.
We solict donations of all kind which are then bid upon to raise money for CANTER. It could be tack, services, food or something you got from Christmas last year but didn't really like :) Examples/ideas from previous auctions- lessons, tack, food packages, resume services, horse training, x-c schooling certificates, paintings, apparel, halters from famous horses, grooming services, tack cleaning services, horse trailer organization, jewelry, capping at the hunt club, books, photography and the list goes on.

You can stipulate how far you will travel and set a minimum bid on items. You can also set a shipping fee for any items to cover your costs.
If you would like to list items, head on over to http://cantermafallauction.proboards.com/ to add your items. Registration with the BB is required to list and bid this year. Instructions on how to list items here- http://cantermafallauction.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=178
All donated items and services are tax-deductible, and go directly to the care, housing, and training of the off-track Thoroughbreds in our rehoming program.

If you would like me to list an item for you please email me directly and I would be more than happy to. Feel free to forward this on to anybody you know that might be interested in donating something for our auction or bidding! This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year to support all the CANTER horses.

Best deal of the auction:

Unlimited Digital X-rays for one horse! It could go for $1k and it would still be a huge bargain.

Other things to be found:
Lessons have already been donated by Lauren Spreisser, Bobby Costello and Eventing God-Jimmy Wofford and more.

Goody baskets range from home-made cheese olives to a collection of Argentinian delicacies.

And if you are wondering what kinds of horses CANTER-MA helps here is my mare that I adopted in 2006 and lost in 2008 due to complications from colic.

Goodness! New stuff is rolling in -

Equine Massage

Breeding Services to some really nice stallions

More lessons!!!

Because I've gotten a bunch of emails asking for a little more time we're going to push back the opening of the bidding until next week - running from November 16 - 23, so we can finish getting all our ducks in a row.

We still have room for plenty of stuff - new/used tack, books, art, etc.

Yeeee haw!

Holy Crow! There's a breeding to A Fine Romance being offered! Sigh, if I were rich, I'd get a nice mare off of the track just to breed to him.

And, some of Everythingbutwings' good food. If you haven't had her cooking yet, you're in for a heavenly surprise.

Oh dear. Between the Crack Brownies (seriously people. There is no other way to describe the goodness), and the lessons ON Antigua, I'm going to be too broke to buy christmas presents this year.

Bumping because bidding is now open and the competition begins :)

Lesson with Beezie Madden, drive '08 Horse of the Year Jamaica, or get much needed life coaching!

The tack and 'stuff' sections have some fun stuff too, but this is an awesome opportunity to get training or try something new! I think this is my year for a sidesaddle lesson, personally!
