I have a dk. brown (looks solid black) but has a brown muzzle so she's not a true black, 17h, mare w/ Mr. Prospector lines. She's 6 yrs. old + breeding sound. Also have a blood bay 13 y.o., 16h, w/ same lines. Need suggestions on the the value on these mares? Both are excellent dispotions, can be ridden anywhere withou a problem. Thanks so much. Judy A

As the saying goes, they are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them. It depends on what you are marketing them for and what the rest of the pedigree says if breeding and also, most importantly, conformation ect.

Good luck as they sound nice mares.

Just bear in mind that Mr. Prospector is one of the most common lines in all TBs & the market's currently flooded with nice TB mares, many of whom are already approved main mare book for various European warmblood registries.

More information on the mares, including perhaps conformation pictures & also their ages & jockey club names, might help us help you, because perhaps your mares' have "the look" or a dam's sire with great sporthorse bloodlines that might raise their value above the other Mr. Prospector TB mares on the market.

Not that it matters for sporthorse breeding but I assume you are talking about a Mr p granddaughter which would make her one of tens of thousands. Find something else about them that would make them useful and market that
