I was just looking through the Canter California horses which I shouldn't be doing. I came across this adorable little filly Ripplin Rhythm. It looks like her right front is a bit weird but I think it is the way she is standing. Her pedigree looks interesting also...

Dam sire is Out of Place who we just had a conversation about being good for sport. Her head is too big. It's kind of weird looking if you cover her head with your hand and imagine what it should look like them remove your hand...

When horses are posed like that, if the head is at all closer than the body (as in this photo) it will appear larger than it should. Foreshortening. :) It's because camera's are putting a 3-D reality into a 2-D image. That's why they say "the camera adds 10 lbs" - because it can't compensate for the curvature of the body.
