View Full Version : Pony Bridles Than Run Large

My new pony has a somewhat unrefined head. The pony bridle I just ordered for her is too small (Smartpak Plymouth- the cheap one). But, she is too small for the cob bridle I already have (an LJD). Can anyone recommend pony bridles that tend to run larger? My goal is to try and buy a decent used one thats already "broken in" (I'm too lazy to oil a new one properly). Not looking to "invest" in a $300 bridle because this is my one and only pony that I don't expect to have long.

Do you mean she's too small for the cob size?

Thanks! just updated it. Yes, too small for the cob. Which might actually run big because it was for my refined TB. The Smartpak bridle works for right now, but want to look into something that fits close to just right when she starts showing.

Ooh! I might have the bridle for you. It's an older but unused/unoiled Beval New Canaan square raised without fancy stitching. It's the smallest cob bridle I have ever met.
PM me and I'll send measurements and pics if you think you can use it.
