That was an interesting and candid read (with prices), thanks. I am still gobsmocked at the prices paid for winning horses in any dicipline. That is a whole 'nuther world isn't it? I remember back in the early 70's seeing a ad in the Chronicle for a horse named "Logically" who had won at the fall indoor shows. In my memory the full page ad had the horse priced for sale at $25,000 and as a young teen I thought "wow! wow!". Hard to believe that today 25K is a "steal" for something unproven or middle of the pack. Sigh.
