How many bags of rice hull bedding will I take to make a deep stall bedding for a 12x12 box stall ? I want to try the mallard creek brand that the feed store carries so I dont have the exact weight of the bags.

The bags do not spread out as much as a bale of shavings. It's been a long time since I used rice hulls, but I think I would start with 5 or 6 bags for a 12x12 stall.

I'll be interested to hear how you like them. I agree with about 6 bags to start with.
