Mid-world war two? Does anyone know where they were using the horses?

I thought it was a very clear video that would be useful for beginners.

OK, figured it out. The system at work was blocking the video. ALl I had was a black box. Here at home it works fine.

Nice, interesting to see....

what a cool vid! what i found interesting is how soft the first horses back looked - even tho he was very high in the neck.

very very cool and interesting to see riding broken down like that in military fashion.

and very clear who the heroes were - the horses!

eta: if only modern beginning instructors would break things down so clearly and so clearly instruct to not pull, kick yank etc.

totally!!!!!
while it's not the video for teaching advanced movements to advanced riders, it was a VALUABLE way to teach army recruits who may by 1942 have never seen the back of a horse...

simple easy to follow and meant for the raw beginner
