Hello,
I found a bridle with a browband that has the brass squares on it, but the buckles/clips are chrome. I was wondering if its OK to have these two different colors in a show bridle, or if you guys think it is some kind of "conflict of color"?
Thanks Everyone!

It would only look odd if the buckles were oversized - in which case they'd look better in brass.(Like this: http://www.wagners.com.au/bridles/photos/pop_large/bridle-7.htm )
Most of my bridles have brass, and sometimes gold or white or patent black padding on the browband, (like this: http://www.wagners.com.au/bridles/photos/pop_large/bridle-6.htm ) and have discreet steel buckles and billets.

If the metal on a bridle is golden, should the stirrup irons be golden?
What about what is visible on the bit?
(Those Wagners bridles are something else.)

I have been trying to figure this out for some time now. I want to order my pony a new dressage bridle with brass buckles, as my saddle has brass fittings, but what does this mean for the stirrups/bit!?
