The Saddlebred Museum is located at the Kentucky Horse Park and is uniquely situated to take advantage of the horse traffic at the FEI World Games in 2010.
Museum curator, Kim Skipton, has announced that the 2010 exhibit is going to break from tradition where the focus has been on history, and is going to include both historical and current horses. The focus for 2010's exhibit is on Saddlebreds who excel in all of the different divisions such as driving, dressage, three-day, gaming, competitive trail, mounted shooting, etc. Kim needs our help in locating these Saddlebreds and having their information submitted. Specifically, she needs (on loan for the year):
- 8x10 photos
- video footage supplied on DVD (not via YouTube)
- awards, trophies, etc.
Currently, she has many people who have "told" her of the horses, but not much actual material. For example, she is well aware of Harry Callahan, yet the majority of footage that she has of him is training footage shot at home.
