and I am craving horsey smell and barn time
Sheesh I am a weirdo. I know, when it's warm/hot, not so much, but now, as I am sitting here in my chilly livingroom (need to reprogram my thermostat) and feeling Christmassy I can look at a picture of a hairy beast and know the smell of if it.
yeah, I know, my Alabama cold snap is shorts weather for you NE peeps....

Ill back you up on our Alabama cold snap. It's pretty dang cold if you ask me! ;) At least it's not raining this week, should be plenty of saddle time if you can brave the cold.

I just wish I had any amount of time to spend not running around like a chicken with the head cut off...
it's totally riding weather (though I noticed, I have NO cold weather clothes left, not even the marginal protectiveness needed for Alabama...that is beyond pathetic, what have I done these past years?!)

For us Suthunahs, anything below 50 is a cold snap. ;)
It was dahned cold in this heah paht of Vuhginyah last week!
Seriously, anything below 50 degrees, especially with rain, and we're all a bunch of whiny babies. At least I am!
There was actually (GASP!!!) frost on my windshield this morning! It's going back up to the high 60s-low 70s here this week, which are the correct temps for this time of year for us.

Well, when you mix a cold rain in with the lower temps I can see where it would feel chilly.
I am usually a little too stuffed up this time of year to fully appreciate the horsey aroma. Better in the summer for me. At this time of year all I can picture is that frozen fingers, toes, face and limbs are in the near future.
