It's going to happen this weekend at a Lellie Ward clinic. Pam Kimble, local FEI dressage rider, trainer, and judge is going to ride in Lellie's clinic. This is really interesting for me cause several of the eventers in the clinic evidently ride with both of them. I've thought of going to Pam for lessons but thought she really preferred to teach dressage riders....

Any thoughts about this? What should I look at as she rides or asks questions? Any questions you'd ask of either Lellie or Pam?

thanks!

My trainer (who was a retired eventer) took lessons from the woman I took monthly (whew they were expensive!) dressage lessons from...

and I once showed to a XC clinic to find I was in the same group as an old trainer... which was kind of weird since I don't think she liked me much since I left her barn :)

Should be interesting to watch though!

our-meaning my son's dressage "coach" traina\s in conjunction with the event trainer. Is that what you mean??? The dressage coach is Janis Linnnan who is an FEI eventing judge and the event trainer is Tamie Smith. Janis does the warm up at the shows and lessons prior to and Tamie does the xc and show jump.

No, I mean the dressage trainer actually rides in the clinic and is taught by the event trainer...in this case, an FEI dressage rider is going to take a lesson from an Advanced event rider.
