I'm one of the short and large calfed people with a small foot who can't fit an off the shelf boot without much cutting and snipping, :cry: so I'm considering custom/semi-custom Dehner field boots.
Could someone give me some feedback on the following things with Dehners:
1. Calf zipper vs full zipper: how far down the leg does the zipper go? (I actually prefer a pull-on boot, but thought I'd ask about this option, just in case.)
2. Klingfast lining vs full lining: how well does/doesn't the inside wear and break in? (I'm looking at the Voyager leather, because I'll be wearing the boots for showing and often for schooling.)
3. Some of you have scared me with your stories of measuring nightmares, so what dealer in the DC area is the best place to get accurately measured?
