Greetings!
I am working with organizer Susan Gilliland on recruiting and assigning volunteers to help us at the Sunshine State CDE at the Florida Horse Park on Sunday, November 22, 2009. They will be running classes for Training and Preliminary Single Horse, Training and Preliminary Single Pony, Training and Preliminary Pairs, and Preliminary Four in Hand. Entries are limited to 30, so we won't need a tremendous amount of manpower. Entries will drive Dressage, then proceed to Cones, followed by a short section E with four obstacles.
I'm told we'll need one or two scribes, wheel measurement help, help with cones, and spotters and judges for the four obstacles.
If you are interested in volunteering, or know of experienced volunteers or drivers who would like to help out, please contact me at tincupeventing@gmail.com.
I will be sending out an email to the database of previous volunteers for the driving events that Susan organizes, but thought this forum might reach others as well.
Please bear with me, as I am new to helping organizing driving volunteers. I have been the Volunteer Coordinator at the Florida Horse Park for the past four years and have much experience there, but this is somewhat new territory for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
