My horse was put on Thyro-L for a very low TT4 and T4 and T3 count. He is on 3 scoops per day. Vet said it didn't matter if it was all at once or broken between morning and afternoon feed. Interested in finding out how others administer this, am/pm or just am or pm? Thanks in advance :)

But my horse only gets one scoop.

I give it once a day. In humans, thyroxine has a long half-life so once a day works well. I don't know the half life in horses, but I assume it is also fairly long. I give 1 scoop per day to our older horse. My daughter's horse is on 2 scoops per day, but his thyroid levels test as low normal so we don't want to decrease it to 1 scoop.

I feed it once a day (2 scoops)

For the best absorption feed without other vitamins and minerals.

Yep, I've always seen it fed once a day. :)

I have used it on several horses and have always given it 1x a day.

My retired horse gets 3 scoops once a day, and my riding horse gets 1 scoop 2x.
