Need ideas for 'faceless' mane tamer or 'tube top' FAST

In the Breeder Forum you can read about my weanling with pneumonia.

He currently has a catheter in, covered in elastikon.

He is allowed out, monitored but I need a 'tube top' kind of thing, in lycra (or a slippery material) so it will slip across the catheter.

All the jammies I can find are faced and zippered-so I can't even cut the face off.

What i NEED is a BIG tube top!:lol:

How about a lycra bathing suit? You could probably raid the local thrift/good-will stores for a child's skinny one. Then just slit the crotch!

What about a pair of adult, wide leg lycra yoga pants?

If you go to TJ Maxx or Marshall's, they usually have a great selection. I think they would both be stretchy & wide enough if you just cut off one of the legs and you'd actually get 2 in case one wears out. They are usually pretty inexpensive, too - about $10-15.

If you're a brave soul...is there an adult "bookstore" near? Because THEY would have tube tops of EVERY size if they carry club wear, especially so close to halloween.

XXL sweat pants/yoga pants/tacky slinky pull on capri pants like the Dollar Store specializes in, I did this with my gelding to make a hoodie, you just need the leg part. Cut the pants in half at the crotch, so they are mirror images of each other- done, too headless manetamers- cut off below the knee to end it behind his ears. The thigh section of the pants leg would fit the base of his neck. You could easily slim it down to conform to his neck better with some crude stitching to take up the slack. And you'd likely secure it with a belly band of a sort threaded through slots in the waist band.

I'm pretty sure the sleazy I have does not have a zipper. I'm getting my oil changed, ill look at it when I get home. If it has no zipper ya want it? You can cut the face off

I got it!

A 'waist slimmer' from target. It is a 'tube top' girdle type thing.

If not I bought a girls lycra skirt from TJ maxx. I can put them over and pony tail a know in the excess material!
