I bought a used aluminum Featherlite trailer and am trying to get it all cleaned up and looking nice. I have a bottle of the Featherlite trailer renewer (acid wash) and a power washer, but there are no directions on the jug that describes how to use it. Do you leave it on for any period of time or just spray on and rinse off?
Also, there is some corrosion in the deck of the trailer where the mats were joined and urine/manure had seeped down. Are there any rules of thumb as to how much corrosion is too much and when it needs to be re-decked? It recently passed inspection, but I do not know how closely they looked at it because the mats had not been pulled up. :eek:
