I'm just looking for some opinions on Smartpak blankets... I'm considering buying one of the sets but wanted to know if they ran big or small and how well they hold up, and have you had any issues with them? Thanks!
I have a TB gelding who's an 80 (about 16.2 and typey); he plays pretty hard in the field.

Bumping this.....
Does anyone know how their fit compares to the Dover's Rider's International line? My guy is kinda hard to fit blankets too and the rider's fit him well, but I would MUCH rather buy from Smartpak then Dover.

If the Riders fit then the Smartpak won't. We have several different of the Smartblue rugs and they are all a bit different. The Smartblue thinsulate turnout seems to run true to size and fits the 3 that have it (a narrow tall TB, an appy gelding, and a pony cross mare), the Smartblue stable blanket doesnt have nearly enough drop and the neck hole is oddly shaped, the Smartpak stable sheet is almost cut too big, and they didn't hold up to our abusive beasts. Too bad too because I love the look and the overall construction of the rugs, just can't seem to find any besides the thinsulate turnout that actually fit anything.

I got one of the Smarkpak fleece sheets to use as cooler last year. My horse (short chunky QH) was on layup and was not as muscled as she normally is. Once she went back to work, it no longer fit her, pulled across her shoulders. I'm not sure if a bigger size would have helped, though I didn't try. I had another sheet that had previously been too large that ended up fitting Pixie, so I used that instead.
