Hi all !

Update !!!!

I though I would ware this coat since colors are not as bright this year...Too much rain ! By the way this is Orla, my 3 yrs old baby after 40 days under saddle..

Chemio all summer and finally we got the cancer down so I have a break and decide to get this young filly under saddle to keep myself busy !

I really worked very hard on feelings, experiencing again and again...softening my way of riding..Finally loosening those elbows..It was fun but very constructive..

So good to see you up on another beautiful horse. She seems quite happy to work for you.

Seems you've had a little rain?

You must have heard me thinking about you today! Lovely filly. You are working on the same thing I am, it's so hard to keep the elbows soft and quiet. You look like you are doing a better job though! Glad to hear you can take a break.

Damnit Elene, now you've thrown the gauntlet out there for the rest of us!

I guess I've NO EXCUSES for not starting my 4yo now, do I? :uhoh:

You look amazing. I love the way the filly is going. She is very balanced for just 40 days! I truly love the way you put them so lightly into hand, very connected yet so light... Supple, step, reach...

What a beautiful walk too... what is her breeding?

Just wow. As always, I'm humbled and in awe. You ROCK. And you are daily in thoughts and prayers!

You do a wonderful job bringing your babies along :).

I had to laugh at the cat in the ring; my cats always want to come watch me ride...what in the world?!

The fall colors look beautiful, I know you are enjoying feeling well on those lovely fall days:) (Heck, feeling well any day!)

Thanks everyone !!!

I did promise to keep in touch...Right now life is treating me ok.

This filly is by Oxford KPWN out of our TB mare Alsace Lorraine. She has a very strong hind so just think about what this is going to be when she will be at full maturity !
She is really a nice filly, very focus on rider, very very soft and no spooky !

I FINALLY found the way not to disturbe younsters and putting myself softly forward, helping them to find their balance, their rythm.
I was not bad before but I feel now more efficient and effective.

Even if I read and read about seat, hands, contact...I had to copy some big riders's ride and through this I found the right spots.

I did not receive any chemo since end of july after a major allergic reaction...My doctor and I were very sad since I had such a good response to the treatment. But the cancer marquers stayed low since...I was so happy to ear I have another 6 weeks off last week !!

Frankly I need to kick my butt in somedays..Riding makes me feel sooooo much better, so no complaint.

Nice day everyone !
