cross-country racing in France -- Prix Telopee

For those who like their XC en masse...

Here's the replay of the 2009 Prix Telopee (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Y_yGkhMLUk).

The Prix Telopee is a cross country race -- 5000m over varied terrain and obstacles like a sunken road, banks, drops, open ditches, etc.

OMG, I hate that. Talk about beating a tired horse. Especially after he's been perfect over the jumps for 10 minutes!
Personally, I prefer to have a bit more leg touching my horse when jumping 4' at speed!:eek::winkgrin:

Wow. It DOES look like fun, though I agree about the whipping at the end.

That one drop was pretty amazing to watch.
