My friend tried this guy a few weeks ago (for eventing) and we found out he has screws in his ankles, but he is a very good mover and looks naturally balanced considering he has only raced. He does have a long back, but still could be a really great lower level mount or awesome trail horse. She rode him literally a day or two off the track and he was very well behaved. I believe he is 7 and 15.3h.

He's at risk of going to the slaughter house so wanted to post here if anyone knows anyone looking to adopt; he could be a great lower level dressage option.

I wouldn't let the screws in the ankle bother you. Looks like a decent chap in need of a good home. Go for it.

He might be fine for more than flatwork :) Know a horse with screws who was quite a good jumper (until he injured his knee in turnout, anyway).

also, the pedigree:

Malibu Moon, and some Kris S on the dam's side :)

Where are the screws? that could make a difference in his future usefulness- we adopted one who is still going strong- showing, jumping and teaching horse crazy girls to ride!
