I'm hoping this is horse related enough to stay up as this is the only place I can think of to ask and possibly get an answer. I'm gearing up for a horsey friends baby shower and I am desperate to find some cute pony themed stuff. I saw a onesie (sp?) a few months ago in a tack catalog that had a horse emblem and said "I want a pony"... now I can't remember where I saw it. Thought it was Stateline but now I don't see it on the website. Has anyone else seen that or something similar?

Check this out. Pricey, but very cute. I got the purple sweater with the horses wearing blankets for my friend's daughter. http://www.hartstrings.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/search.results/showAll/1/searchString/horse/

New leather photo albums with horse themes.
Who wouldn't love a horsey photo album for their new baby?

SeeU,

Try horse.com -- they have some very cute baby stuff.
Backinthesaddle.com also has some great items.

I LOVE hoofprints.com - been shopping there for years, well befoer they began providing us some financial assistace here at CWER. They have all kinds of graet gift ideas for everything from infants to great grandmas. (Please tell Gina I referred you...they've been very supportive of our nonprofit and we like to be sure she hears when we've referred folks her way.)

Many moons ago when I was pregnant, my barn buddies gave me a 'horse themed' baby shower. I got the cutest stuff: many outfits with horsey emblems; teenie little socks with horsey heads; micro leather booties -made to look like cowboy boots (loved them, even though all of us were H/J's); a very, very fancy wooden-headed stick horse; rocking horse; baby book with a pony on the front cover....little 'farmer-type' overalls with checked shirt; stuffed horses; crib sheets/blankets/bibs with horses on them...

It was so much fun! My friends really gave their gifts so much thought....it did help that part of the theme was to get things for an older baby (age 12 months and up). And I appreciated that a lot, as newborns grow so quickly and outgrow/never wear most of the newborn stuff.

Montana Silversmiths has a super cute IMO nursery set with ponies and it's unisex. I just got it for Miss Rachel's room, now I can't wait to get the crib set up.

Thanks guys! I knew I would get some great suggestions from CoTH. I still can't find the original set ( I just thought it was funny because the poor dad to be is decidedly NON-horsey)... friend is supposed to have a girl so I think he is about to be surrounded ;). There are some GREAT ideas though, so many to choose from (including a stick art horsey story from cafe press which reminds me of CoTH http://www.cafepress.com/dressageart.167726175) . Choices choices

interesting timing, as I'm just getting ready to launch my website for unique horse-themed baby blankets that I hope will branch out into being all-things baby shortly! I'll be launching at the end of the month... just in time for Christmas ordering.

seeuatx, my sisters and I make hand printed onesies with horsey themes. We also do tie-dies with horsey themes, too, and we sell them at craft fairs. They are quite cute. PM me if you'd like to see some of them.
