I am posting this for a friend.
She has a racing client that is currently trying to find a good home for a very handsome 5yo bay tb gelding 16.2+ hands that has only had 14 lifetime starts. (8) starts in 2007 then was taken off the track with what was believed to be growing pains (bone pains). He was laid up from October 2007 until May 2009 where he went back into training. The horse has sustained no soft tissue damage or other injuries per the owner. He has been sound throughout the 6 starts this year, but just is not wanting the race horse life as he was apparently given the perfect ride in his last start & he made no effort to be in contention. The horse is currently with the trainer at Arlington Park in Chicago, IL. I am told that this is a nice horse to be around and not a jerk ex-racing animal.
The owners would like him to find a good non-racing home for him. He will be given without papers, but they will be happy to provide his pedigree & rgn number or copy of papers - no originals for the horses protection.
