Dancing Days (Innkeeper x Daneya) 6yr old mare. I gave "Spyder" away 2yrs ago, and thought she had a good, permanent home, but things have changed. Spyder was hurt in training (soft tissue damage around her stifles), and was given a yr. off, but just never seemed right. I found her a home as a broodmare and she had one foal by an Irish Sport horse stallion. They tell me it's quite nice, but haven't seen her. She "took" on one dose using frozen semen.
Spyder has a wonderul temperament and was very easy to train, but I can't guarantee how she'd hold up for riding (other than light pleasure riding). I'd prefer she go to a breeding program.
The woman who has her now broke her knee and is having a difficult time taking care of her horses, and her husband isn't into it! She also just informed me that Spyder and another of her horses got in the fence, so she now also has a big scar on one ankle. She did assure me that it is strictly cosmetic and she is sound on it.
