How did it go? Goodpony - I think I remember you saying you were going.

It went REALLY well, actually! There were about 20 horses or so who came out and competed - we were there covering it and taking pics, and we're hoping to post them all in the next day or two on the USEA site.

That's great! I really wanted to bring my yearling but it was just too far to haul for the day. Hopefully next season there will be some up closer at Woodside or something. I'm looking forward to info and pics.

Yep, My husband showed our two year old R. Moonrock and they placed 2nd with a 76 which was just super since he is both hairy and wonky at the moment :). The winner scored a whopping 90 percent which I think is a national high score! Greydun pleeeeaaaaaaase post pics as the show photog didnt take any :(!

If I remember right the judge is an FEI judge and engaged with the WEG...something like that. Pretty sure she was more generous with her scores in the YEH a few years ago as our pony *sire of above* actually won the conformation section and he is um well, A PONY!

Anyone know when the results will be posted? I checked the eventing scores page but there are no final results for the FEH classes - just says DRAW for each of them.

Hey - I'm working on posting the results right now (sorry, had a red-eye flight back from CA...so it was a fairly unproductive Monday). Should be up on the USEA site by tomorrow, but I'm doing some sleuthing to find out the breeding of the high scoring horse... Was there someone in particular you were looking for? I've got the scores here in front of me. Posting pics, too!

I've worked with her in the past and you would have to ask for pictures, I'm assuming. She spends so much time taking pictures and not enough people buy them that it can be difficult. I think in a cost benefit analysis, stuff like the FEH and even dressage (she takes sign ups) loses out.

She take really nice pictures, though...:)

Gah, I finally got all the pics posted! Sorry for taking so long... hope everyone who came out and competed had a GREAT time - and thanks to the IDHSNA for the refreshments :)

Press release with results: http://useventing.com/competitions.php?section=feh&id=2115

Pics of everyone (ps - we have TONS...if you're a competitor and want a pic, let me know! I know Tass was swamped with the event, so I don't think she got a chance to get over there): http://useventing.com/blog/?p=5687

Congratulations! I just saw the pics etc. I didn't realize Max was your husband. I met him years ago in Vacaville when he was down here shoeing horses. Small world. :D
