Well - the search for a new horse is over - Prospect's Atheana proved she is an awesome horse and younger son absolutely loves her - she has more than shown that she should be able to advance rapidly. She has had just 45 days under saddle and weaned her foal a month ago. She is 8 years old and my son is the only one that has ridden her - he is training her from scratch.

She did her first show at Foggy River today at Entry Level - so many firsts - first dressage test and even with a few 7's, first time doing a stadium course and cross jumps and she handled her self like a star - just a few neighs but her behaviour and attitude were incredible. She placed 5th. So proud of both of them.

BUT in a good way. I started my mare as a 7yo broodmare, she is now 8yo and just weaned her foal two weeks ago. I wish we were as far as your son and his mare. WAY TO GO!!
