KWPN-NA Education and Judging Seminars....

There were three of those seminars held this year in conjunction with the keuring - Pennock Point, FL, Claybrook Farm, MI, and Prima Euqestrian (ON).

I'd be interested in hearing what the keuring participants at those locations thought of them. When they were held at Iron Spring last year I particpated and thought they were very well done and couldn't wait to do more along those lines (which happened at the Annual meeting in San Diego).

I for one would love to see more of that type of training and education in the future. What do you think?

As I understand it, the one scheduled for Pennock was cancelled. I had been looking forward to attending.

We were truly disappointed and upset that the Pennock Point seminar had been canceled. We had intended to participate as attendees, by supplying some jumper and hunter horses , and by making available the ever-ready dynamic duo of daughter Monica and her college roommate who was visiting from New Hampshire to help where needed. It was a learning opportunity that we were all anticipating eagerly.

The keuring this year was relatively small, and the jumper contingent was miniscule. However, that being said, a real opportunity to enrich our knowledge was lost, as was Sandi Lieb's careful advance planning. It was a shame!
