I am looking for a dog bed to be made in my colors... For some reason, I googled away yesterday and came up with nothing.

Any ideas?

Not sure what colors you are looking for, but here's one that makes custom memory foam dog beds. My big dogs love theirs!

What type of bed are you looking for?

I find it easier to buy whatever dog bed works for my dog and then hit the fabric store and buy material in the color/print I want and just sew up a quick "pillowcase" for it. I can't sew worth crap so I don't put a zipper on the open end, but you can buy iron on or stick on velcro fasteners. This way I get exactly what I want in the colors I want and I can remove the exterior and throw it in the washing machine as often as I want.

Try your local foam shop or an upholstery shop.

If they can make you a bed/mattress that has the special foam that's OK with getting wet occasionally, so much the better, because regular foam begins to break down and get stinky once it's been wet.

So says my local upholsterer, who's about to make my dogs a custom bed. :)

What size dog? My wife Pam makes them. The whole thing can be thrown in the washing machine and they last for years. She doesn't advertise and has more people wanting them than she wants to put time in making so it may take a while. We have a fabric outlet near us that sells leftovers from manufacture of hotel curtains and bedspreads for high end hotels. She has quite a collection of fabric including some really fancy microfiber and heavy cotton. Stuffing is quilted, rolled quilted fabric and sewn for stuffing around the outside, no foam, and all sewing is with the heaviest sailmaking thread on an industrial machine we have for sailwork. Dogs love them.

Those custom beds look so fun! I want one or two now! I wish I could do as Misty said, but I am the most craft challenged ever. I would hire someone if I couldn't find something like. I go thru beds pretty fast though as one dog must destroy all things stuffed and the other dog has a dust allergy so I wash them for a bit but end up replacing them when he starts refusing to sleep on them.
