Have come across this stallion. My, what a nice looking and moving fellow. I have a thing for stallions that are bred to jump but still really move.
It seems he was sold to someone in New Zealand (after showing with Edward Gal) in 2007 and internet searches don't seem to show anything after that.
Anyone know what he is up to and what his offspring are like?

Kathy Hickerson at Majestic Gaits reps the semen, and I got 3 foals out of 3 doses. Prima Equestrain in Canada reps the semen and has also had some spectacular foals!
I have 3 yearlings by VDL Prestige. THey all have 3 spectacular pure gaits. They all have pretty faces, clean chests, well set necks out of the chests and from the withers/neck connection, and they all have nicely articulated hocks. One is a filly, and she is not only marketed super flashy, but she is also the top mover here. She has super carrying expressive hocks, her changes are 100% clean 100% of the time, and she has the utmost of extressive trots and passage. Beautiful long lined filly.
I would definately breed to him again! 3 great foals out of 3 doses of semen!

My trainer has one out of her late Seafox (Roemer) mare. He's smart, flashy and athletic. Sometimes TOO smart, flashy and athletic... He's 3 and just started under saddle... we're all pretty excited to see what he'll do!

We have Beatrice VDL. She is amazing. She was First Premium Ster, Provisional Keur at ISF Keuring. She is beautiful, intelligent and a people magnet. http://paardhillfarms.com/KWPNsales/kwpn_beatriceVDL.html#1

Now why couldn't I find that site? I had a good look around there and am now in the midst of a full blown crush on Prestige.
Thanks for the info everyone!

*Bumping this back up--- for those of you with Prestige offspring, what do you feel he brought into the mix? I found his website and he seems small in the photos, yet he is listed at 16.3 (Edward Gal must be very tall).. What improvements did you find in the foals? Thanks in advance - he is one of three Im thinking of using in the spring..

My Prestige foal is a yearling. He is TALL - already 15.1 1/2 hands at 16 months. He is really athletic, really bouncy trot. Was a CLASS ONE SWB foal. Really big shoulders, good rear end. He is a lovely light bay and looks a lot like his dad. He's out of a KWPN mare I bred by Wanroij. Very nice personality (and he's still a colt). He brought longer legs to the mare and a lovely neck. His only flaw (and we'll see how he grows up) is that his pasterns are a little steep in their angle. Nice length, but a little steep. Great personality - very friendly. Already ties, clips, stands for farrier, and wears a saddle pad.
At his inspection:

Now I realize I need to take more photos of him....
