I have not heard of anyone doing one this fall.

The sessions that I did this spring with the Susols at their Cool Breeze Farm were small at the beginning and grew very successful.. We have discussed another session this fall, but have all been a bit busy to set it up.,.,. I think once all the finals are finished , we will be doing a winter session. The biggest issue is keeping it affordable with the event insurance costs..

Unfortunately, winter, like spring is not a good time for me. I only have time when the weather is nice, but also need to plan for a non-shaggy coat for a photo/video opportunity.

I'd like to practice with a mare for the MPT next year.

Darlyn, sorry to hear that, as we would love to have you... Unfortunately , with our showing and breeding schedules, this IS the best time of year for us to hold the freejumping clinics, and to take time with our youngstock to get a jump on next year...

I was hoping for an Oct clinic, because the show and breeding year is pretty much done, but the horses are not terribly shaggy yet.

Hilltop offers free jump training...not sure of their schedule coming up though. It may be in their last news letter or on their website.

We do our own here and have Bill Alphin photograph while it's video taped by my daughter or one of the girls here. We have had great results this way plus the horses are home so the learning curve is not as steep. Most actually end up loving it and will keep jumping the chute until you stop them, lol.

OnCourse does show training and prep for keuring and horse shows, and Katie is great with training for the jump chute. I will mention having a clinic. The farm is in Northwestern NJ.
