Pony makes me nuts (in a good way)

Our new Smart Paks arrive this afternoon and since it was feeding time we decided to try them out. Roxy got hers mixed in her food , no issues. Lizzy does not get any grain ( I think she gets fat on air) and she is constantly trying to "steal" food from the other ponies so we figured she would gobble her supplements up.
We took her out of the field and put her bucket in front of her and NO GO she sniffed and licked but would NOT eat them. I tried hand feeding them to her and still NO GO! So Sarah comes up grabs the food and sticks her had in Lizzys face , the ****m pony eats it!! And finished the rest from Sarahs hand. I guess on the days when its 20 below ( not often if ever) she will miss her supplements other wise Sarah has declared herself the ONLY one who can feed Lizzy! And she said this with TOTAL pride in her eyes I wish I had the camera there! I love the bond between these two it makes every hour of overtime I work worth it!!

Too funny! That bond is so special and sounds like Lizzy is declaring that Sarah is her human loud and clear!

It really was one of the MOST important things to me when I was looking for a pony for her. AT 5 you should LOVE what you ride , and it should love you just as much.
Today I had an empty stroller in the ring ( note to self NOT a good idea) my 2 yr old drug it down from the barn ( it is where she naps in the afternoon while I muck) Sarah's foot got hooked on the handle, and she was dragging this stroller along with her as she trotted!!! Pony NEVER batted an eyelash!!! My mom was there and her comment was " That could have been a disaster!" we unhooked the kid from the stroller and they went on their way!!! It was AMAZING! We got VERY VERY lucky and Lizzy will be our forever pony even after Sarah and my 2 yr old outgrow her!!

my mom fed this morning and tried to mix lizzy's SmartPak in some grain , she did not eat it. when we went to ride this afternoon Sarah took her over to the bucket and told her " you need this it will make you feel better" teh pony ate every DAMN bite!! my mom just stood there and laughed! it won't be so funny in the pouring rain or snow!
