:DYes zone V pony jumpers... Let me tell you, they are hard to come by. I had a pony jumper for three years, and just sold her this spring. I qualified for pony finals on the team last year, and it was a blast! Unfortunately, if you want to do the pony jumpers in zone 5 you have to make the 5 hour drive to KY or Chicago. And before you make that lovely trek, you better make sure that the pony jumpers are going to fill. Call ahead because driving to KY or Chicago, and have no division is not fun. I am not sure how our zone manages to produce good pony jumpers because they don't do a whole lot horse show wise. I know that three of the kids that were on the team this year didn't show at any zone 5 shows, they just went to FL. Two years ago we got the Metamora Hunt and WIN-A-GIN A show to have pony jumpers, only because we know management and had three ponies coming for sure. Ridgewood at the Andrews Osbourne Acadamy outside of Cleveland had the pony jumpers a couple years ago, but I haven't seen them since I went, and when I was there the division had three, my pony jumper, my spooky pony hunter and one other pony jumper. Circle City 500 in Indianapolis has had the pony jumpers as well, but you never know if they will fill or not. Traverse City offered pony jumpers forever... or until I had a pony jumper. The year I started doing the PJs, TC took them out of the prize list. If you don't mind my asking... who are you? I know of two pony jumpers in MI. One did the "B" shows, and one I saw at a winter schooling show. Other than doing the child/adult jumpers on the A or B circut or doing the level 1 jumpers, there aren't any jumper classes offered for ponies in MI. That was the sad thing about the PJs. I loved my pony and I loved doing the jumpers, but I couldn't travel to KY or Chicago to hope that my classes filled. If you get lucky, those are both great shows. For my NAL class at the KY National, we did almost the same course as the Mini Prix that morning. And the jumps at Chicago were SOLID in the NAL class in the Grand Prix ring. So... what else would you like to know? HA HA HA HA. I have a lot to say about PJs!!!! :D
