I have a friend in Kentucky who wants to adopt a mare that is older..but it is too far for her to go get the mare. If I had the funds and didn't have this dental surgery coming up, I'd get her and pay the hauling to my friend. I know she would have her fat and sassy and doing light trail rides in no time!

Dear gawd, that breaks my heart. Sounds to me that the family who owns this old gal has fallen on hard times and are desperate to find her better digs. This is a sad, and not uncommon situation. I truly hope that someone snaps her up. I don't know how to navigate Fugly (for some reason, it stumps me), but it would be great if someone could post this link to her so she could feature this mare. I really think that these owners are looking for help and are doing all they can for their mare.
