Im helping this old man rehome 3 - 2 year old gelding mules. they are BEAUTIFUL! currently about 14.2-15 hh. But, they have had very little handling. They are friendly and curious, but, MUST go to EXPERIENCED mule people/trainers. The owner is old, and has been injured one too many times. he is scared of these guys now.
They are AWESOME mules. these are SHOW quality boys. they are out of QH/Standardbred mama's (I thought it was Saddlebreds, but, its Standardbreds) Ive seen their mamas, and they are drop-dead gorgeous. they will be AMAZING riding mules. they are VERY smart.
they WILL need to be vetted/wormed/farrier and probably need sedating initially for that.
see pics with ad at: http://luckythreeranch.com/classifieds.php we are currently the 6th ad down that says: "Quality Mule Geldings - Free to GOOD/experienced homes only"
TO GOOD HOMES ONLY. with legal/binding "no resale contract" (must be given back if you dont want them) and references checked.
seriously, these will be nice riding mules. they WILL be easy for an experienced person to "bring along".... in that they have had "little handling" they also have NOT had "bad handling" which (an experienced person knows) is often easier to deal with, with mules like this.
Owner is currently working on getting them to load, but, he just doesnt have the physical skills anymore to deal with them.
Ive seen into their eyes, they are mentally and physically "QUALITY" animals.
