I apologize before hand as I won’t be able to give a full and comprehensive report but here is some of what I watched and remembered, hopefully someone can fill in the gaps. Maybe Samantha kept track , she was there with a nice TB mare.

18 beautiful entries made their way through the California 97 degree last day of summer.
12 mares were presented
8 warmblood mares, 3 TB mares, 1 Arabian, 1paint and all but 2 made it in the main studbook I believe, 2 did not fulfill the pedigree requirements
I think the high score with 103 was Jane Summer’s 3 yr old Regazzoni/Frohwind mare, pretty typey. Sorry I do not know the scores on the others but the other warmblood mares were by the stallions Cantini, Condino(holst), Target (Trak), Grandom, Pik Solo(Han) and Zortin(KWPN)

The foals were a small group of 6

Top premium filly was by Escudo II out of a Pilgrim mare with 3 x 8.3
Another premium filly was a Pablo /Condino owned and bred by Barbara West 3 x 8.0
The only premium colt was a very nice Graf top II colt and I believe he also received 8.3
Other foals presented were by Domiro and 2 by Sir Caletto.

Edgar, THANK YOU for a wonderful Inspection! Facilities were great, and everyone there at Rainbow Equus is so friendly and helpfu, as always! I had a wonderful time, my TB mare made Main Mare Book, and we are very proud of her after doing nothing but be a broodmare for 8 years to come out and show like she'd been doing it all her life.

Thanks again :)

PS, any pictures of the Pilgrim mare and her filly? I've got a Pilgrim mare who I adore, and have been fishing for information on Pilgrim and any other offspring for a long time.

It was a great afternoon at Rainbow Equus. I'll be posting photos to my website next week. I left for KHP early tues. and I haven't had much time to work on the inspections pics. Very busy time of year ;)

Sounds like a wonderful day! Love the baby with the blingy QH-type halter!!

Great photos - Tam (but you already know I am a huge fan of your work!) Hmmm -- between YL and I, you already have two fans here in Loudoun County.... and I bet there are more.....perhaps an East Coast swing next spring is in order ???

Funny thing, Tamara was at the Kentucky Horse park the day after our inspection.

....and the photos she took there (at the Arabian Sport Horse Nationals) are just gorgeous, as well!

Hmmm -- maybe they will get her for the East Coast Arabian Championships next year....then we WOULD have her right here in Virginia!

Hahaha - you guys are extremely kind ;) I would LOVE to come out to VA! Its a beautiful state and I haven't been there in years. East Coast Championships… hmmmmmmm that would be awesome! But you know its pretty easy to get me to travel ;-)

For those of you who want to look at the Arabian Horse Times photos of SHN, just send me a PM and I'll give you the password. Thank again everyone - you made my day :)
