My TB wears a winter blanket that always ends up hanging with the right side way lower than the left. His belly is exposed on the left side, and blanket is down to his hocks on the right.
Is there anything I can try to fix that?
Sew fishing weights in the left corner?
Horse is actually well balanced and other blankets stay on fine.
Also, the liner is bunching up on that right side - should I try to sew that on somehow?
It's a midweight winter blanket, so has a waterproof shell and filling/liner on the inside.
Also, I have the exact same model on my other horse and this one does fine.

My pony's hug sheet did that. I finally tied baling twine between the 2 leg strap D rings on each side of the tail and made a pretty tight tail strap (under the tail). It works.

Your horse may be lopsided in the way he moves. If his hips move asymmetrically it will throw the blanket to one side.
Strange but true. I fixed a blanket that did this by having a chiro adjust the horse

Leg Straps for the rear legs? Sometimes you can loop the back leg straps aroung each other and then back to their original D-Ring ...

How are you doing up the leg straps? Right strap to right dee ring and left to left? Or criss crossing them? Or threading one through the other?

Does the blanket hang to the side when it is on another horse? May just be a defective blanket; not sewn straight and balanced.

I have this problem with both my horses.
Worse with one because he always grazes left front out, right under, which diagonally twists the blanket, hence it's always hanging off to the right at the back.
SOLUTION : attach counterweights to the back D on the opposite side. It may take some playing around to find the correct amount of counterweight, as too much will make it hang off the other side then, haha.
I use large snaps I buy at Home Depot, they come in different sizes, hence different weights. Usually 2 large ones + medium does the job for a winter blanket, for the flysheets I use just a large one.
I can take a picture if you like.
It works like a charm for my boys :).

I usually criss-cross the leg straps...
I was thinking about adding weights - but how much?

These are the ones I use. You may have to buy a few diffent sizes and play around with how many to find the magic counterweight.
For my medium weight blankets I attach 2 large ones of those and if still no good, add a smaller one to it.
