My much loved equine chiro/vet has stopped doing chiro as it was making HER arthritis flare up...and my big horse has been telling me very loudly that he needs an adjustment.
Any recommendations? Would prefer a vet who does manual manipulation...

Dr Melissa Carlson is great - she does chiro and acupuncture. 443-375-8472. Good luck!

Dr. Lisa Wagner at Wagner Equine is awesome!!!! She is also a great vet. She comes to our farm in Montgomery Co. She is located in Gaithersburg. She has an ad in the Equiery, so you should be able to get her number from there.

Dr. Lisa is who we had been using, and now is no longer doing chiro  (but she will still do acu). We love her too, which makes it tough finding a replacement.

As of last year, Dr. Lewis still did chiro and acu but he used the activator for the chiro adjustments. Some of our horses seem to respond better to manual manipulation.
