How are these boots? Looking for something for the cold days of riding at home. Just the paddocks. Found a good deal on both the Icebergs and the Bromonts. Preference 1 over another?

I have an earlier version of these and I love them, the leather is truly waterproof and they are very warm, I wear them most of the winter for riding. Mine are 7 years old and finally the leather is beginning to crack a little so when the newer Ariat version (I think its the Bromont) was on clearance at Dover I bought a new pair. The only boots that are warmer are my Muck Boot Brit Riders but they are a bit bulky for riding although nothing is warmer, I wear them for around the barn when I'm not riding in sub zero temps.

Dover had them on closeout, because they have come out with an updated version, with a new name, which I forgot.

I also have the Icebergs and love how warm and comfortable the are, even in the coldest temps (below zero). Mine are apx. 3 years old now and look great.

I have the tall version of the Ariat Icebergs and I love them.
I had the Mountain Horse winter tall boots and had a horrible problem with them making this awful squeaking noise when I rode! Scared my horse...faster he went...more the squeaking! That day...I sold those puppies and got the Iceburgs.
Found break in time to be minimal and they are nice and toasty warm. Also helps that only the uppers (or in my case the inside) are leather so you can hose off the lower part if needed. I like them a lot!
