OMG! Glad you got the horse and some tack out! Where are you located? You have my sympathy for the cleanup you'll be enduring. :eek: :(

I moved two horses out of flooded areas tonight for some friends. We've had over 10 inches in two days with more expected...I'm in Western North Carolina.

Holy Sheet! So glad the horses made it out. I know cleaning up and replacing and sorting through everything else will be hell, but you got the horses out! Wow. Crazy stuff!

Thanks so much everyone! Thank goodness the weather dired out yesterday (it was suppose to rain for another week). We were able to get everything we needed! The barn a mess! Horses are all fine and the barn will be fine in a week or so! Tnks for all the offers for help...it is awesome how many people are willing to help total strangers when it counts!

Wow! Unbelievable amount of water. I'm glad you are expecting the water to go down so quickly. I had some friends endure that kind of flooding several years ago and it was months before they could use their pastures again because of soil contamination from the flooding.
