My daughter will be attending her first hunt in October. I haven't ridden to the hounds in 35 years ! A question from her: what is the most important thing to remember?
From me - any good tailgating recipes? Boy, how your life changes after kids. Now I cook and watch!!

Always turn your horses butt away from any hounds or staff that may be approaching or passing you

Don't pass the field master
if you follow #3 you don't have to worry quite as much about #1

Always introduce yourself to the MFH
Ride safe
Remember that staff and hounds always have the right of way because they are working
Keep your voice down when hounds are nearby & never speak to a hound.
Have fun!
