I need to find a good quality bradoon bit in 4 3/4"- hopefully loose ring. I have searched for days online, called countless stores and I'm getting desperate. I found them at 2 places Rick's Heritage and Dover, but both say they are out of stock and that they have to order a whole box of them from Germany to get one- so basically I'm SOL. Please, any help would be immensly appriciated!

I thought there was a tack store called JUST PONIES - try googling that. Good Luck. OH !! Try LaSalle - they are in Rhode Island they have lots of pony bits and would be able to direct you to where you can find one if they do not have what you are looking for.

Can't exactly help - but check out British sites - they show their ponies in doubles.

Mobile hrse (I think that's how it's spelled) on this BB rides Pony's FEI and owns a tack store. I could almost guarantee she'd have what you want - Try her.

I just bought a brand new Courbette curb, and bradoon for less than $20.... yes, both bits! I got them on ebay. I wanted an eggbutt bradoon, and a curb in 4-3/4 & Equiteric had them listed as auctions with no reserve. They have BIN on the bradoon by itself for $15.80, which is still awesome.

Another place to look is at a saddle seat saddle shop like Hartmeyer's. Possibly Libertyville would have them too.
