Maybe I am wrong and there really is someone selling multiple imported fresians in Plainville NJ for $1500. I can't help myself but to toy with him. I have no interest in a fresian but came across several adds last night and bit. Here is the email response I got as a result of an inquiry I sent. I love the new twist, he's deaf from being traumatized by his wife death so he can't speak on the phone. I'm going to assure him I don't mind using TTD. :)

Go to this link and scroll down. who knew there were so many Fresians for sale for under $1500?

Hi,
I saw the message regarding your inquiry for my friesian .Before given you more informatioms on him, there is something about me that I'm going to tell you now.I lost my wife three months ago and I became so traumatized due to the love I had for her and it resulted to a motor accident which led me into suffering from hearing impaired. For that reason I can only communicate via emails .I hope it won't be a problem communicating
with me this way.Accapello has been trained for trail riding, competitive dressage, endurance riding,English pleasure, jumping draft and trail riding, so he is the perfect horse you are looking for.He is very socialize with each and every one he meets,we are given him for adoption and before he moves into any new home,he is 9 years old weighing 1095lbs. He stands at 16.3hh and will make 15.3+ in height and also 1095+ in weight when he is 9 years old.He has a pretty little face, has a nice coat, and his ears are up. He is home raised,DNA
tested, dewormed, updated shots and vaccinated. He can be very quietly on his own, but would prefer to explore with a friend or mates (other horse), he has such a Sweet and gentle personality, Will steal your Heart.Enjoys aking you for rides while you're sitting on his back. He Will grow to be very healthy when fully mature. Accapello will come with everything that he needs, including Health Certificates, Food manuals, halter and bide. I am not willing to give him to anyone who wants to keep him constantly locked in doors as it would be extremely
unfair and stressful on him. I am more than willing to give any potential buyer any help that they would need.
He has been exposed to a variety of experiences (Veterinary visits, house guests, and rides) to avoid fearful behavior.
At times he is scared when there are very loud noises. At times he becomes afraid and defensive when moved into a new home and environment, but this will pass in a day or so when he gets to know his new family and home. It will be important to keep the high intelligence in his mind when getting to know.He tries to imagine
the reaction of a child that has just been moved into a new home with strange people. Depending on the age, and
personality of Accapello, this adjustment may be instantaneous or it may take a couple of days.Maybe you may want to know why I'm giving him out.the reason is because I want to go back to my family in europe so they
could take good care of me bcos i am alone for now and no one to take care of me, and for my new job I
acquired so it's going to take me all day, beside my new landlord here is very allergic to pets and animals.
He is a very good listener to his ridder, calm, sweet and loving temperaments.
For the transportation,I will need the following information from you.

your full home address
your full names
your phone number(s)
your zip code
your city
your nearest airport
Thanks and waiting toi hear from you soon.
James Walter .

Wow, a Friesian who competes in endurance? And his ears are up! And he loves asking for rides when you're already on him!

And when he's scared, he tries to imagine the reactions of children. Does seem like a tough horse to pass up!

There are 5 or 6 ads. They are all equally entertaining to read. One of them lists reining as a potential career. Now, that would be something!!

I emailed him and said I would pay cash on delivery.

OMG, he works harder then real horse sellers to scam people.

His landlord is allergic to pets so he is selling horses. Uh huh. Jumping draft competitions too!

Cut and paste and he has no idea which animals he cut and pasted ads from:D

You mean for answering the ad? It's not like I don't already get 5 of them a week...they're easy enough to delete with the rest of the crap that the yahoo spam filter does not pick up.

*SNORT* Wow, the incredibly shrinking horse.....

That was my first thought as well! Poor guy a deaf, widower owner and now he is shrinking. At least his weight stayed the same.

What I wonder is why do they go into such details? Life history, jobs, housing. Why do they go into so much details about even the horses emotions? They must look at other people's ads, but why do they go to such pains to make themselves look like such idiots? I don't understand. Even if it was lost in translation it would still sound stupid.

Why does he need your phone number if he's deaf and can only communicate through e-mail?

Asking for the nearest airport is a new twist. Wonder if he's going to buy Accapello a coach or first class seat?

Don't forget all that training he's had. He's even been exposed to house guests !

Now there's a bombproof horse

Interesting how he lists 'nearest airport' in the need to know info about you. Is he planning on shipping him airmail?

Coach if he's only 15.2, definitely first class if he is 17 hh. :)

Do you really want a horse that is going to expose himself to house guests? How rude!!

That these scamers, who don't even really know English, try to add horse language into the mix, and just show their ignorance. If they put 1/2 the effort into a real job that they put into this, they could actually make a decent living...:lol::lol:

Weird isn't it! But the real life ones do, too - guys who stop you on the street for $ in NYC, for example, so often have these really long complicated stories (if you bother to stop and listen!) that end with "can I have a dollar?" Telemarketers the same, going on and on about their organization and the wonderful things it does before finally trying to get you to give $100...yawn.

But at least his ears are up.

They do it because out there somewhere is a not too bright or savvy person who would be taken in by his sob story and would want to save his poor sweet horse who can apparently change his height at will and is a little bit underweight for a Fresian - well I suppose that depends on his height at any given moment. Just google how many people fell for the Nigerian scams.

I wonder if anyone ever follows up on these ads and tracks down where they really come from? I'd be dead curious to figure out what dimwit gets on line and pieces together irrelevant bits of information about every breed and every discipline and expects someone who might actually have a clue about horses to be interested enough to send him money....

....

More likely is someone thinks they can buy it for $1500 because he is clueless and sell it to someone else for $15,000. That and they just fell off a turnip truck but that's beside the point.
