I am considering getting into foxhunting. I have hunted a few times before and enjoyed it very much. The horse I currently have was actually imported as a foxhunter (although he hasn't hunted in over 5 years) and I feel quite safe on him. He is a sensible sort. Before I contact my local hunt to ask permission to cap, is there anyone who knows what the capping fees and the subscription fees are for Kimberton? If it is not feasible due to monetary reasons, I don't want to waste the time of the secretary or the master and I would hate to speak to them and say "Before I ask permission to cap, can you tell me what you charge?" That just seems very rude! Thanks.

Well, they want you inquire. That's what they say on their website.

I sent them an email and hope to hear back soon. They have their hound show this coming Sunday so I think I will go.
