My filly has suddenly developed a swollen knee. There is a smallish scab on it which looks to be at least 24 hours old and I'm not sure it is related to the swelling even. No heat. It doesn't seem painful. I hosed it with cold water for 20 minutes and put an icepack on it. My vet said to keep an eye on it and her temp. which is normal so far. Is there anything else I can do??
